How to pack in your broken screens?
Standard rules for packaging broken LCD displays
1) Before you seal the box with tape, close the lid and shake the box for two seconds.
2) If you can feel the contents moving, add more packaging material. It is better to pack the screens so they will not shake through transportation.
3) Choose a suitable box for the amount of displays.
Use enough tape to seal the box well
1) Please do not pack in one package over 15 KG. Around 300-400 LCDs. Make sure the box does not exceed the maximum permissible weight.
2) If “FRAGILE – GLASS” is clearly written in capitals or with a tape on each side of the box, the carrier will be more careful with the package.
Packaging with air cushions
The best thing to do is to use the air cushions or any other bubble material to protect the LCD from any transport damage.
Place the broken LCD displays in air cushions or another suitable plastic bubble with the flex cables pointing towards the open end of the bag.
Make sets of 8 or 10 displays and keep them together with an elastic band or tape. Make sure the elastic band or tape is not so tight.
Place the sets in the shipping box on a layer of balls of paper and fill up the sides and top balls of paper to prevent the contents from moving.
